Certified translation of death certificates

Translating death certificates

When do you need to translate a death certificate?

Translating a death certificate is usually a legal requirement for all procedures related to the execution of a will and distribution of inheritance.

The translation provided of death certificates and wills should be an official sworn translation so that it is considered legally valid by the notary and official bodies.

During this process it is often necessary to not only translate the death certificates but also the last will and testament, family record book or bank statements, among others.

In order for us to translate a death certificate, we will need you to either scan and email the document or visit our office and provide a photocopy in person. We will duly stamp and sign your sworn translation before delivery so that you can submit it to the relevant authorities.
